Looks for the presence of smoke in air moving through ductwork.
Kit includes a CAST-PRO CP416 optical smoke detector and a CAST CA408 base supplied in a durable plastic housing c/w sockets for the required length of Venturi tubing (tubing available separately).
Compatible with C-TEC’s ZFP and XFP CAST protocol addressable fire panels.
Can be located horizontally or vertically on the top, bottom or side of a duct ideally well away from devices that could interfere with its operation (heating, cooling or humidity devices).
Includes an onboard short circuit loop isolator.
<1mA alarm current.
570uA typical quiescent current @ 40V DC.
Approval to EN 54-27:2015 pending (certificates attached apply to the kit’s CP416 detector only).
